Are you that overwhelmed new mom hearing everyone tell you about the must-have baby products?
When I had my 3rd baby I really didn’t think I needed anything new. I had stuff left over from my previous kids, but little did I know that with all the new baby products on the market comes a new possibility of ease for a mother.
I am blessed to have been able to try them because this allows me to show you why you NEED these BABY PRODUCTS if you are about to have a baby or have an infant.
This is a sponsored post via Binxy Baby, Ollies World & Dockatot in which we received a free shopping cart hammock, swaddle and baby lounger in exchange for an honest review. Dockatot Deluxe
A baby lounger? I never heard of one and I didn’t think I needed one after 2 kids. With Musa’s colicky crying and sleep issues, I decided to try this must have baby product out because we ended up with unplanned co-sleeping.
It helped us in making co-sleeping safe. It also let him relax and chill anywhere in the house between feeds and naps. We paired it up a lot with The Ollie Swaddle.
The Dockatot is as soft as it looks and gave Musa a snuggly feeling because of its narrow structure. Initially, we used the Deluxe size (recommended for 0-8 months), and since Musa is pretty tall he outgrew it fast.
We were able to carry the Deluxe to my inlaw’s or friends houses. It was safe even when he started rolling because of the barriers on the sides.
Product Information
Dockatot is handmade in Europe, and designed in Sweden (gotta love Sweden since that’s home to Ikea!). It is tested for breathability and OEKO-TEX certified.
They have the cutest covers so it was really hard to pick one. I ended up going with the Deluxe + in the Mod Pod since the Carrera Marble was sold out. It was their most popular color and I didn’t want to wait 3 weeks. I was desperate for better sleep.
We just finished using the Grand size (check out my review here) which is for kids between 9-36 months. It made the transition to the crib so much smoother! He used it for over a year and half.

The Ollie World Swaddle
We have always been an advocate for swaddling as it really helped our other kids. My first was super colicky but we only discovered swaddle wraps (with velcro) when he was 3 months old.
It immediately helped his sleep and so we followed the same with my second child from birth. However when Musa was born he was a little different, he wouldn’t sleep more than 5-15 mins at a time.
He was constantly colicky and would cry practically all day so I either had to hold him to sleep or pray that he slept when put down. It was so difficult and emotionally draining. I tried an old swaddle we had but it was too large and he would fight it and I think due to postpartum exhaustion and having 3 kids my mind was just not working.
When we were offered the Ollies World Swaddle, I honestly didn’t think much of it and hoped it would help us. With all baby products you just never know until you try it. I was so impressed with the packaging. It comes in a beautiful box with its own washing bag.
Musa was 5 weeks when we first tried it in the Dockatot (pictures above), and low and behold he took more than an hour nap. In the beginning, it helped us a lot with bedtime and sleeping at night as he wouldn’t wake up so often (even if he was gassy!).
It took a little time to work for nap time consistently but once he was wrapped it was like clockwork, he would nurse, and then just wind down.
Product Information
We picked the stone color. It has a little elastic strap to tie the bottom because every baby’s height is different so their legs will stop at different positions of the swaddle. The material is super soft and even though we have washed it several we had issues with fading.

Binxy Baby
When I was about 5 months pregnant with my 3rd child I came across this shopping hammock and it was a must have from all the baby products out there.
I am big on babywearing, especially with 3 kids. However, with a bad back, I found shopping with 3 kids overwhelming. When lifting heavy items into the cart, having my baby in the hammock made it easier to pick stuff up and have my hands free to tend to other kids.
It was like a mini-break from carrying a baby while you shop. My son would look around and it kept him calm (provided he had been fed). He even fell asleep in it several times! I am ashamed to say I sometimes forgot he was in the cart with how quiet he was. At least until check out of course!
I can’t tell you how many people stopped me to comment on how they wish they had one too or how they wish this was invented for adults. The best part (and sometimes can be a con because I got stopped at least 5-10 times every shopping trip) is how amazed people were!
I got comments like “Wow this is amazing”, “I wish I had this when my kids were little”, “Do they have one for adults??”, “Did you buy this in the USA?” and I can go on!
Product Information
The hammock fits most standard grocery store carts. I have used it at Target, Costco, Home Depot, Ikea and Walmart so far.
It also is supposed to be able to hold a car seat and supports up to 50 pounds in weight (or until baby can sit up). I personally don’t use infant car seats so I haven’t tried that. We used it until my son was 6 months old.
I also love that the hammock has a safety velcro strap to make it extra sturdy. We chose the grey/aqua color. You can follow them on Instagram and visit their website to purchase on at 10% off.
I hope you enjoyed these reviews on must have baby products and please share if you have the same products and how your experience was!

Ohhhh! I remember the days. My babies are toddlers now and I’ve used a lot of these products before. Definitely made my life easier too. Thanks for sharing.
Binxy Baby looked a great product, which I think I missed when I had my son. It makes shopping so comfortable for mama as well as baby.
These look so awesome, I wish some of them were around when I had babies. I did have Swaddlers similar to this one though and LOVED them! So handy for fussy sleepers!
Wow, these products look so amazing! I wish I knew about them when my son was born. I especially love the lounger and the baby binx. How seamless to carry them around with you! Thanks for sharing!
These are great! It’s awesome to hear personal stories about these items because I know it’s not just some typical ad. Thanks!
